About Lonehill...
Lonehill is a fairly new residential suburb and, only being about 30 kilometres north of Johannesburg, is known for its countrified, relaxed and tranquil atmosphere.
Lonehill, as its name implies, was named after the solitary hill or koppie of large boulders, standing proudly in the rocky veld. The Lonehill Koppie, still a landmark today, has now become surrounded by residential developments of classy cluster homes, estates and apartments; the Lonehill residential suburb of today.
Property here is affordable, tending to attract yuppie first-time buyers because of its close convenience to the mega-entertainment centre of Montecasino.
Schooling

Travel Routes
The suburb of Lonehill lies between the William Nicol Drive (R511) to the west and Main Road, Lonehill (M71) to the east with Witkoppen Road at its south end. As these are busy roads and major thoroughfares through several of the nearby suburbs, Lonehill is well-positioned to take advantage of this easy travel access.
