The business of being healthy

Category News

Why is it that our New Year’s resolutions just don’t stick? Besides losing weight we already know that a consistently healthy diet has countless benefits and leads to less illness. So why is it so hard to find consistency?

Maybe we need to tackle it like we would a business and create some healthy habits.

Here are 5 ideas to get you started:

  1. Schedule exercise in your diary, just like a meeting – plan meetings around this and don’t waiver.  Find out what exercise your work colleagues do and tag along or find an exercise partner that is dedicated.

  2. Schedule your food with objectives, an agenda and stick to it.

  3. Make a list every week of what you are going to eat and cc a business colleague that can back you on the deal.

  4. 4. Take a juicer to the office and substitute coffee for a carrot apple and ginger juice.

  5. Some deals don’t work out so you will need to persevere! Even the most successful entrepreneurs fail at least 3-4 times before they find success.

  6. Creating healthy habits require focus and discipline, get organised and this will become a habit.
Here’s to the start of a new healthy project!
